If you’re the one who handles everything for your parent, you’re doing more than anyone realizes.

My dad lives in a care home, and we live states away. I fly to see him every 6 to 8 weeks. In the meantime, I feel torn.
Here’s what the in between looks like.

💊 Refilling his prescriptions.
📅 Scheduling his doctor appointments.
📞 Calls with the facility. About a med change. About a fall. About a day he seemed confused.
✈️ Booking the next flight back.
🤍 None of it shows up anywhere.

When I became a caregiver, I couldn’t find the support I needed, so I created a place for it. The Rooted and Resilient Collective is a free group for women carrying exactly this.

If you’ve been carrying this alone, you don’t have to.
DM me the word GROUP and I’ll send you the link. 🤍

Send this to the one woman who’s doing it too.

It’s 2am. You’re exhausted, and you’re wide awake running tomorrow’s list.

Sound familiar?

Swipe through these five signs and count how many sound like you. Three or more may mean your body is stuck on high alert.
These aren’t signs that you’re weak. They aren’t signs that you’re getting older and just have to live with it.
They’re signs your body has been working overtime to protect you.

The good news is your nervous system is adaptable. It learned to live in survival mode, and it can learn to feel safe again.
That’s where my free 7-Day Stress Reset Guide begins. Each day gives you one small reset and a short reflection.

DM RESET and I’ll send it to you.

I’m 60. I’m a caregiver. And I know what sandpaper skin feels like.

During my hospital stay years ago, my skin turned rough and dry, like sandpaper. It took work, consistent facials, treatments, real effort, to get it back.

Then during the hardest stretch of caring for my dad, my skin broke out. I was so focused on him, I wasn’t paying attention to what it was costing me.

I’ve always strived to take care of my skin, to keep it looking healthy, and yes, a little youthful too; however this season has tested that in ways I didn’t expect.

If your skin has been telling on you lately, breaking out, rough, tired, I don’t think that’s just aging. I think it’s a sign of everything you’ve been carrying.

I’ll be sharing what I began using because of the results I’ve seen. Comment LIST and you’ll be one of the first to know!
